Stour Valley Arts • Down Time

Down Time is the third video made for Stour Valley Arts based in Ashford and Challock, Kent. Down Time represents one strand of SVA’s education and learning programme, funded through chances4change (C4C) and the local health authority. C4C is a £5.6m portfolio of 62 projects in the South East funded by the Big Lottery Fund Well-being programme. The film was commissioned to document the activities in the forest with participants. The intention of the videos are twofold – to provide evidence for funders and for use as an advocacy tool for further work for SVA. Workshops, interviews with participants and extensive documentary content were edited together to illustrate this important  work, and screened daily as part of the Science Nature and Identity exhibition at Stour Valley Arts in 2012.
